About Alex

“My name is Alex Morrow, and I grew up in the humble community of Georgetown, in a modest home nestled on the bank of the Hiwassee river.  As a born and raised resident of this county, I take pride in saying that I am a product of the Bradley County school system.  I attended Hopewell Elementary, Ocoee Middle, and Walker Valley High where I received my high school diploma in 2012.  For higher education, I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in the pursuit of receiving an English degree concentrating in writing and rhetoric.  After three years of college, I moved back to Cleveland to assist my grandmother, Pearl, and my father, Steve, operate their small businesses, Angela’s Homestyle Restaurant in Cleveland and 58 Short Stop in Georgetown.  I currently am employed as the general manager at Angela’s.  My resolve to move back to Bradley county has been the best and most fulfilling opportunity.  Through my work at Angela’s, I have had the delightful pleasure to meet and make long-lasting friendships with the residents of this county.  I have heard and continue to hear my constituent’s grievances and concerns with the leadership, direction and demeanor our local government has exhibited.”
